Beginner Golf Lessons in Virginia Beach

If you've never held a golf club, Virginia Beach's indoor golf studio is the easiest place to start. Lessons are private, patient, and built around real feedback from Full Swing simulator technology, not guesswork on a crowded range.

Why Start Indoors as a Beginner

Learning golf outdoors as a total beginner can feel intimidating. Crowded ranges, wind, and no real feedback make it hard to know if you're actually improving. At our private indoor studio in Virginia Beach, VA, you get one-on-one instruction from Joe Allen with none of that pressure. There are no other golfers watching, no weather to fight, and no wasted swings, because every shot gets analyzed the moment you hit it.

What You'll Learn in Your First Sessions

Beginner lessons start with the fundamentals that everything else in golf is built on: grip, stance, posture, and a repeatable swing path. Using Full Swing simulator data, Joe can show you exactly what your clubface and swing path are doing on each shot, so adjustments make sense instead of feeling abstract. Most beginners see cleaner, more consistent contact within their first few sessions.

What to Bring

Just comfortable clothes and sneakers. Clubs and balls are provided at the studio, so you don't need to own any equipment to get started.

Where Lessons Happen

Lessons take place at The Back Nine Golf, 2476 Nimmo Parkway, Suite 104, Virginia Beach, VA 23456. It's a private, comfortable space designed for focused, one-on-one coaching rather than a crowded practice bay.

Getting Started

A single hour-long lesson is $50, and a 30-minute introductory session is $30 if you'd rather try it out first.
